The Everglades is my home, and I have grown up in this beautiful ecosystem and have watched the destruction of this fragile ecosystem by the Burmese Python. My Everglades python hunts around south Florida will immerse you deep in this beautiful and fragile ecosystem.

How Did The Python Get To The Everglades?
The Burmese python originates from southeast Asia and was brought to southern Florida via the exotic pet trade. During the 1980s growing up in the Everglades, we never really heard about pythons in our slice of heaven. However, the growth of the exotic pet trade allowed these invasive species to invade Southern Florida.

The Everglades encompasses just under 5 million total acres. of beautiful wetlands with a tremendous amount of food and shelter. Being one of the world’s best ambush predators this was a perfect home for the Burmese pythons in the Florida Everglades.

The Burmese python in the Florida Everglades is an extremely stealthy and efficient ambush predator. They are now the top alpha predators in the Florida Everglades and it is our aim to help make an impact in reducing their numbers.
